The recurrent and main theme of all my plays is « Power ». Power that corrupts, mutilates, destroys the one who uses it as well as the one who is submitted to it.
I attack “power” whatever form it takes, and I seek – through satire and derision – to destabilize the powerful. I am inspired by the genius of Charlie Chaplin in “The Dictator” and Berthold Brecht in “Arturo UI” who ridicule "little dictators" from all backgrounds. (Richard Olivier)
