JEANESCO, born in the beginning of last century in a popular neighbourhood of Brussels, started his career at 12 as a street acrobat.
With his wife ACCENT, they formed a couple of professional dansers and performed all over the world until Mister Siegfeld from SIEGFELD FOLLIES hired them to perform their act on Broadway.
In the States they made money, became famous and met Fred Astaire, Gingers Rogers, Al Capone … They were the first to dance to the music of Ravel’s Bolero.
